Itzy - Not Shy (English ver.)

technically, this is the first album of 2021 that I listened to. From what I can tell, this is a digital only release, but they did do a countdown live where they chatted, played games, all in English, so this is probably an important release to the girls.

Review: With that said, I actually watch a lot of their interviews because they tend to use English a lot more.  And in most cases, the original versions are always superior, but since English is my preferred language, it's interesting to hear and understand what they are saying, and because their pronunciation is good, nothing feels off-putting or foreign to me. I get that sometimes, certain words are said in order to fit the time signature, but nothing that would make me go "huh." Lyrically, I know the vibe is very teenage, but the songs are fun and it's still fun in English.

Summary: Overall, since these are all their title tracks so far, it's 4 Itzy anthems in a row. I actually prefer the "Not Shy" English version over the korean, but none of them sound awkward to their original songs since their pronunciation is so good.
