yup. I’m so out of touch. My winamp library said i have 119 albums from 2014. the previous two years had 200+, 2011 had 300+, 2010 had 400+, 2009 had 650+…Since i have a car with bluetooth, its just easier to use my phone as my CD player than to buy albums. so this is the first year since 2002 where i didnt buy a single album. yikes. also, this year was kinda weird because none of my “favorite” bands released anything so i naturally just stuck to what was familiar to myself. Maybe it’s a tell that my brain shuts off “new” music. i dont know. at my age, I just want to feel secure. o well, i like to document my music taste so for the year of 2014, these are my favorites.
