Review: Found this on rateyourmusic's top 2023 charts where it was at 40. There are elements of this album that I like, as well as elements where I wish it was condensed. I think the ambient parts are pretty, but it's also asking for a lot of my attention because these songs don't need to be 15 or 20 minutes. I understand this is a split album, but both of them sound similar enough that it feels like a continuous album. It's not a competition, but if I had to say, I like sadness just a bit better.
Summary: I like it, but it's recorded in a way that it sounds like your older brother is listening to music in his room and has no idea the whole house can hear it too. It's hard to say if it's good or not because it does hit those familiar emo beats. I like it, but I don't know if I'll return. but I have my eyes on them.
