I discovered Max Richter from a girl who left a comment on Sigur Ros's myspace page and she had "On the Nature of Daylight" as her song. Typical to have that as your favorite Max Richter song, but it really is his best. This new album of his is an interesting peice. Barely 30 minutes of work with 24 tracks.
Review: It'll alternate between a pretty peice to an anbient peice. I suppose it's nice, but in the long run, it's not that engaging. A lot of the songs don't do anything and even as background music, it feels unorganized as an album. The flow just stops and runs when you don't want it to. Still some nice stuff here, but a pretty so-so release.
Summary: It's okay.
